Organizing Committe sign Contract with IFDS ( May 2008)

The World Blind Sailing organizing committe this week signed the important IFDS contact to host the 2009 IFDS Blind Sailing event.

Although the organization for this event has beeen proceeding for some time, the contract now puts into motion the full mechanism to officially host the event and to seek sponsorship and funding.

Organizing Committe sign funding agreement with Rotorua District Council.

Earlier this week.  The committe signed a formal agreement and contract with the Rotorua District Council "Events" This agreement provides initial funding and support infrastructure including access to key buildings that will be used during the Regatta.

"This has been a significant month for the organizing committee, 1st the IFDS contract signing and now the RDC agreement. The Rotorua District Council have committed NZ$20,000 to the event.
